WE NEED A GEORGIA FIRST FIGHTER.

I love this country, and I’m proud to be a Georgian. 

I’m running because Georgia needs new leadership in the U.S. Senate. Someone who is going to actually represent the people of our state, not themselves. Someone who is going to put you first—put Georgia First—not another politician looking for their next promotion in Washington or wanting to be a celebrity on TV and social media. We need a Georgia First Fighter.

I was born and raised in Athens where my dad coached the Bulldogs and served the people of this state for over 50 years. I went to Clarke Central High School and attended the University of Virginia where I walked onto the football team as a receiver. After graduation, I came home to Georgia and earned my law degree at UGA. 

I practiced law in Atlanta before returning to UGA to start a three-decade coaching career in college football and the NFL. I’ve been to a lot of places and have worn a lot of hats: six years as a head coach, nine years in the NFL, and nine with Nick Saban.

I’m not part of the political establishment. As a football coach, I led young people from all walks of life and worked hard every day to make a positive impact on their lives and create better opportunities for their future. And that is the kind of work I want to do for Georgians.

Football is a lot like life. It doesn’t always go your way, but when you get knocked down, you learn how to keep fighting through adversity and working hard to win. That’s the American Spirit, too. But leadership matters! Under President Trump’s leadership, the American Spirit is on its way back. And that’s what I want for all Georgians.

As your Senator, I’ll put Georgia First. I’ll do that by working with President Trump to get his agenda done and bringing some Georgia common sense to DC. And I’ll never stop fighting for you.
