Congress is failing the American people because too many entrenched D.C. politicians put their own political careers or personal interests ahead of the people they were sent to represent. It hasn’t always been that way, and it doesn’t have to stay that way. Georgians deserve better and that is why I am running for the U.S. Senate.
For three decades, I worked in a profession where it was never about me — it was about people. It was about the team. When they succeeded, we succeeded. That’s the kind of leadership our state deserves and the type of approach we need to advance conservative principles in the U.S. Senate.
This Georgia First Contract is my pledge to the people of this state if I have the honor of serving them as their senator. This is not a list of empty promises, but a clear set of standards that will guide every vote I cast, every decision I make, and hold me accountable to the people of Georgia every single day.
As your senator, I will represent our state with common sense, integrity, and respect for others — even when we disagree.
1. Georgia First. Always.
My loyalty is to the people of Georgia. Every action I take will be based on what is best for our state and our country, not what helps me win the next election, chase media attention, or score political points. If a proposal strengthens our state and makes America stronger, I will support it. Congress would get more accomplished if no one cared who got the credit.
2. I Will Limit My Own Service
I commit to serve no more than two terms in the U.S. Senate. I will work tirelessly to force a vote on congressional term limits and do what is necessary to get it across the finish line. Ending careerism is the most important step our country can make toward making Washington work for the people again.
3. I Will Not Use Public Office to Get Rich
I will not trade individual stocks or digital assets, nor will I profit from information, access, or influence that comes with holding elected office. I will fight to ban those trades for members of both the House and Senate, their spouses, and senior staff. This blatant corruption in both parties is shameful and erodes public trust.
4. I Will Do the Job I Was Elected to Do
I will not accept pay during a government shutdown. More importantly, I will work to fix the broken system that rewards politicians for failing to do their job by supporting reforms that keep the government open and stop congressional pay and privileges when budgets aren’t passed on time. Congress should not be allowed to use the government to hold the American people hostage.
5. I Will Be Accountable to All Georgians
During my first term in the U.S. Senate, I will hold at least ten town halls across the state to stay connected with the people I represent, including those who didn’t vote for me. Too many politicians go to D.C., settle into the Washington echo chamber, and lose sight of the real world. Whether we agree on every issue or not, as your senator I will always work for and answer to the people of Georgia.
