ICYMI: Derek Dooley Crushes GOP Senate Primary Debate
Atlanta, GA – Derek Dooley, political outsider and Republican candidate for United States Senate, just crushed the GOP Senate primary debate. Here’s the recap:
I’m not your typical candidate. After practicing law and billing hours, I followed in my father’s footsteps and spent a 28-year career coaching football and investing in young people. I’m running for U.S. Senate because Congress isn’t working for the people – and we have to start sending different kinds of leaders up there to deliver results and put the people first.
We have a careerism problem in Washington. Too many politicians go up to D.C. and stay too long, get too little done, and forget about the people who elected them to serve. That’s why my number one priority in the U.S. Senate will be term limits.
As the father of a son with Type I diabetes and the husband of a physician in a rural area, I understand firsthand the frustration the American people have with the cost of healthcare.
In the U.S. Senate, I’ll fight to ban stock trading by members of Congress. It’s corrupt, shameful, and erodes public trust.
Congress isn’t working for the people. We need more outsiders in the U.S. Senate to work with President Trump to deliver results for the American people.
I have a lot of pride in America, the ideals it stands for, and the opportunities it creates. And I want our next generation to have that same pride, which is why I’m asking for your vote for U.S. Senate.
