Derek Dooley Slams Ossoff’s Vote Against Bipartisan Deal to Reopen Federal Government
Atlanta, GA – Today, political outsider and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Derek Dooley slammed Jon Ossoff following his 15th vote against the people of Georgia.
“In the least surprising move of this shutdown, Jon Ossoff voted against re-opening the government for the 15th time, putting his complete lack of leadership on full display by prioritizing Chuck Schumer and his party bosses over the hardworking people of Georgia,” said Derek Dooley, Republican Candidate for U.S. Senate. “It’s an embarrassment to our state, and we all deserve better.”
Tonight, Jon Ossoff voted in favor of American troops going unpaid, families who rely on SNAP going hungry, thousands of essential government workers going without paychecks, and millions of hardworking people across the country and here in Georgia being hurt by continuing this shutdown.
