Putting Patients and Doctors First
Healthcare decisions should be driven by patients and doctors–not insurance companies, bureaucrats or Washington politicians. We need a system that prioritizes transparency, choice and access to quality care for all Georgians.
Transparency in Health Care Costs. Just like you wouldn't send your team out on the field without knowing the other team's playbook, patients deserve to know the cost of care before they walk into the doctor's office. This transparency should also include information about insurance company denial rates.
More Choice for Patients and Doctors. Patients and doctors–not bureaucrats and insurance companies who are only focused on the bottom line–should be making decisions about care. We need policies that give patients and doctors flexibility to choose what works best for their care.
Protect Rural Health Care and Hospitals. Too many rural hospitals are struggling to survive because of broken policies and rising costs. No matter your zip code, Georgians deserve access to quality healthcare close to home. Washington must stop leaving rural communities behind.
