Safe Communities

Every American deserves to feel safe in their home and their community. That starts with a secure border, enforcing the law, and supporting the men and women who risk their lives every day to keep us safe.

Secure the Border. The open borders policy of the last administration was a disaster and created a crisis that we are still dealing with today. A secure border is common sense, and in the U.S. Senate, I’ll fight for policies that enforce our immigration laws, maintain order at the border, and protect the safety and sovereignty of our country. 

Deport Criminal Illegal Immigrants. Under the last administration, millions of illegal immigrants entered the country with little accountability. Those who commit crimes and wreak havoc on our communities must be deported. We must prioritize removing dangerous criminals from our streets in a manner that protects our citizens and supports the law enforcement officers who keep us safe.

Back Law Enforcement. Safe communities depend on strong and respected law enforcement. I will stand with the men and women who put on a badge every day and give them the resources and support they need to keep our streets and neighborhoods safe.
