Stop Washington’s Spending Addiction

For more than 25 years, Washington has developed a dangerous habit of spending more money than it brings in and passing the buck to the next generation. That's not how families run their households, or how businesses run their operations, and it shouldn't be how the federal government runs either.

Balance the Budget. Washington is addicted to spending money it doesn't have, and the result is a national debt that threatens our economic future. I will fight to restore fiscal responsibility and support a balanced budget amendment so we stop passing massive debt to our children and grandchildren.

Stop the Waste, Fraud and Abuse. Billions of taxpayer dollars are lost every year to waste, fraud and abuse. Washington needs stronger oversight that demands accountability for every dollar spent. Taxpayers deserve to know their money is being used responsibly, not disappearing into a broken bureaucracy.

Real Budget Reforms. Congress should be required to follow basic budget discipline just like Georgia families do. I will push for real budget reforms that will bring greater transparency to federal spending, and break the cycle of reckless budgeting once and for all.
